You can see proportions and similarities every where outside, in stores, at home and a whole bunch of different places. City workers need to use proportion a lot, ex. If they are building a parking lot they have to make the parking spaces in proportion to the cars. Also in stores there are many things you can buy that are similar to other things, their shape might be the same or what they look like but they aren’t congruent.
